Editorial Policy

Our Editorial Mission

USA PR Submission exists because most “top PR sites” lists online are outdated, padded with dead directories, or written by someone who’s never actually submitted a release. Our editorial goal is simple: only list sites we would genuinely recommend, tested by hand, with honest pricing and authority data.

How We Verify a PR Site

Before any site is added to our directory, it goes through the same four-step process:

Discover

New sites are sourced from industry research, competitor lists, and reader suggestions.

Test Submit

A real press release is submitted to check the process, pricing, and actual turnaround time.

Score & Verify

Domain authority, indexing speed, and editorial quality are recorded and scored.

Publish

The listing goes live in the directory with accurate, tested details.

Ranking Criteria

Every listing is scored using the same set of factors, regardless of any business relationship we may have with that site:

  • Domain Authority — measured using standard third-party SEO tools.
  • Approval Reliability — how consistently submissions are actually reviewed and published.
  • Turnaround Time — the real, tested time from submission to publication.
  • Indexing Rate — how often published releases get indexed by Google within two weeks.
  • Pricing Transparency — whether the site’s actual pricing matches what it advertises.

Monthly Re-Verification

PR platforms change pricing, editorial rules, and approval speed often. Every listing in our directory is re-checked on a monthly cycle — any site that goes offline, changes its terms significantly, or stops meeting our criteria is flagged or removed.

Our most recent full re-verification pass covered all 124 listings currently in the directory.

Editorial Independence

Some links in our directory may be affiliate links (see our Disclaimer for details). This never influences a site’s ranking, score, or inclusion every listing is evaluated on the same criteria whether or not an affiliate relationship exists. We do not accept payment in exchange for a higher ranking or a more favorable review.

Corrections & Removals

If you spot outdated information, a broken link, or a factual error anywhere on the site, we want to know. We aim to review and correct verified reports within 5 business days. PR site owners can also request a re-review if their pricing, process, or terms have changed since our last check.

Guides & Articles

Our guides, tips, and articles are written based on direct testing, industry research, and practical experience running submissions through the sites in our directory. They represent our own analysis and are updated as PR best practices evolve. They are not paid placements from any platform mentioned.
